These visitors traveled to Sᴏᴜᴛʜ Aғʀɪᴄᴀ in order to interact ᴄʟᴏsᴇly with the local wildlife. However, after being engulfed in a ᴛᴇʀʀɪғʏing elephant stampede, they quickly discovered themselves ᴅᴀɴɢᴇʀᴏᴜsly ᴄʟᴏsᴇ to the natural world.
In the Kruger National Park, visitors went on safaris with the goal of observing and possibly photographing wild animals. This particular group hadn’t anticipated running into a stampede of wild elephants.
When the elephants were scaring away several lions, they noticed the car on the road and believed it to be a ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴛ as well. When a few of the larger elephants charged the van and scared it off, the tour guide eventually decided to drive away to protect the tourists.
One of the travelers in the group asserted that they were encircled by an elephant stampede. It seems that the elephants were trying to scare some lions away by trumpeting and knocking over trees.
They didn’t realize that they would soon be in the way of the advancing elephants, who were furious with them because they had obstructed their path earlier. They might never forget this specific incident.
